For example, now, I start an Analogy Project
Target Problem: Build a simulated model on the process of learning

In order to solve this problem, I need to look for and share information

  1. I brainstorm and post all my own analysis and ideas in AY online tool
  2. I invite others to give suggestions and comments on my ideas
  3. Others might be interested in my proposed project, and join this project community
  4. Collective knowledge building is possible with this tool

For data-structure and interface, I borrow greatly from Amazon, and YouTube. Basically, I transfer most of the structures on ‘a book/video’ to structures on ‘an analogy’.

  1. The author of the analogy.
  2. Dimensions of the analogy: source, target, shared pattern
  3. For each source/target/pattern: subject, action, object, needs, condition, method, & tool
  4. Various modes of analogies: in text, graphic, video, math-function (SIF function)
  5. Readers’ review and comments on the analogies, source, target, and shared pattern
  6. Other information created by the same author/viewer
  7. Other relevant analogies
  8. Other relevant projects
  9. Best 10 analogies for this project

And a lot more other structures.
