Cognitive Tools and Tree-Net

Some brainstorming ideas on how Tree-Net can support the building of cognitive tools

Tool 1: Brainstorming tool

In order to solve a problem, one person or a group of persons might generate ideas, at different times,in different aspects, and in different forms. 

Tree-Net function can support the documenting, comparing, contrasting, analyzing, visualizing, creating analogies, synthesizing processes.

Tool 2:  Note-taking tool

When users read an article, watch a video, or discuss in a meeting, an effective note-taking tool is helpful.

Tool 3:  Borrowing analogies tool

Tool 4: Knowledge building tool (for example, a DBR team, a MIT Media Lab team etc.)

Tool 5: Cross-discipline team (for example, a software design team)

In the case of software design, content experts, target users, and software designers need to collaborate to their fullest potential.
